July 29, 2010 The little bit of rain we've gotten in the last 2 days has slightly bumped the rivers up, but not enough to affect the fishing. The Clark Fork is still coming up today from last nights rains. The Golden Stones and the Yellow Sallies are still being seen, and the tan Caddis and PED'sremain consistent at dusk. The PMD's are starting to slow down in spots, but the hot days early in the week brought in rumors of tricos, so they are on the way as well. In the last 3 days, the hopper population in my neighborhood has gone through the roof, so the fish should start to get very active to them as well. You can look for a high of 90 today, with clear skies. Tomorrow will also be 90, but have a 20% chance of Rain and T-Storms. Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 80's, with the same 20 chance of precip. So it looks like classic summer fishing here for the next few days, and the clouds for the next few days will be very useful for fishing.
